
Full course description
This course is the last in a series covering New Mexico’s Multi-Layer System of Supports (MLSS) framework. You will learn about wrap-around supports that contribute to the success of MLSS, including roles for health-and-wellness professionals, families, and the community.
MLSS is a data-driven, prevention-based framework for improving learning outcomes for every student using a layered continuum of evidence-based practices and systems.
Participants in this last course that covers health-and-wellness, family, and community wrap-around supports will be given the opportunity to learn more about:
- The role health and wellness plays across the New Mexico educational system and how health and wellness connect to MLSS
- The role of families within the context of MLSS wrap-around supports
- How the wider community plays a role in the success of MLSS
