This short course is meant to provide parents and guardians with an introduction to Canvas, directions on how to create an account as a parent/guardian to 'co-enroll' in a course as an observer, navigate Canvas, and how to download and use the parent app to track students' progress.

Because the NMPED values and encourages the participation of all stakeholders in ensuring high levels of student learning, including the vital involvement of parents and guardians, this course has been made available to any parent or guardian who wants to know more about Canvas.
